1. Access data and hosting
You may visit our website anonymously. Each time a website is accessed, the webserver automatically stores a so called server log file to record the request. The log file for example includes the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the visit, amount of transferred data and referrer url.
This access data is solely collected to give information about which functions of the respective website are frequently used and where misunderstandings may occur. The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data to safeguard the legitimate interests of the data controller. All access data will be deleted no later than 7 days after the visit to the website.
Services in relation to hosting and display of the website are partially carried out by service providers which have been contracted to carry out data processing on our behalf. If not explicitly stated differently within this privacy policy, access data as well as data entered into forms on this website will be processed on servers operated by our service providers. Content Delivery Network
In order to reduce loading time we use in some cases a so called Content Delivery Network (CDN). With this service, content such as large media files will be delivered through regionally distributed servers operated by external CDN service providers. Our service providers have been contracted to carry out data processing on our behalf. Our service providers are based in the USA. Currently there is no EU Commission adequacy decision for the USA. Our business relation is based on the EU Commission’s standard data protection clauses.
2. Data storing and processing if you are contacting us
If you are contacting us e.g. by email, we will process your personal data only if we have a legitimate interest in the processing of this data (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), if you have consented to the processing of your data (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), if the processing of the data is required for the development, establishment, content or modification of a legal relationship between you and our company (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) or if any other legal provision permits the processing of this data. Your personal data will remain in our possession until you ask us to delete the data or you revoke your consent to store the data or if the purpose the data stored is required for no longer exists (e.g. once your request has been conclusively processed). You have the right to at any time receive free information concerning the origins, recipients and purpose of your data archived by us. You also have a right to object, to data portability and a right to log a complaint with the competent supervisory agency. Moreover, you can demand the correction, eradication and, under certain circumstances, the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
3. Cookies and further technologies
3.1 General information
We use so-called cookies on our website, among other things to be able to offer you website-specific services, to recognize you when you visit our website again, and/or to adapt our offer to your personal preferences. Cookies are small text files that are stored on a visitor's device. Some cookies used by us are erased automatically, as soon as you close your browser. This applies in particular to the session cookies. Other cookies will remain on your device and enable us to identify your browser when you visit our website again (persistent cookies). 3.2 Use of the Jimdo Consent Manger Tool to mange your consent
We use the Jimdo Consent Manager Tool on our website to inform you about cookies and other technologies we use on our website. This tool is also used to obtain, manage and store your consent to process your personal data. This data processing is then carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. c GDPR to fulfil our legal obligations in accordance with Art 7 para. 1 GDPR to prove your consent to process your personal data. The Jimdo Consent Manager Tool is a service provided by Jimdo GmbH, Stresemannstrasse 375, 22761 Hamburg, Germany ("Jimdo"). Once you have entered your cookie preferences on our website, the Jimdo web server will store and process your IP address, date and time of your consent, browser settings, language and url from where the consent has been sent as well as information regarding the extend of the consent. In addition a cookie will the stored on your device which includes information regarding the extend of your consent. Your personal data will be deleted after a period of 365 days if you have not explicitly consented to the continued processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR or if we reserve the right to process your data further within the legal regulations and as outlined in this privacy policy.
3.3 Use of Google Analytics to analyze and improve usage of this website
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), if you have consented to this data processing. Google Analytics uses a specific form of cookie, which is stored on your computer and enables an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there, and may also be transferred to the servers of Google in the USA.
However, since IP anonymisation is activated on our website when using Google Analytics, your IP address will be shortened by Google in member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this is done. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website in question, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

4. Social Media
Our online presence on Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
When visiting our online presences on social media networks the operator of these networks process data from visitors for the purpose of market research and advertising and a user profile may be created by the respective operator of the social network. Such user profiles can be used, among other things, to display advertisements within the respective social network and possibly on other websites, which are individually adapted to the respective user profile. Cookies (see above) may be stored on the visitors' devices, with the help of which data on usage behaviour can be collected. The collection of this data can, especially in the case of logged-in members of the respective social network, also be realised across several browsers and/or end devices used by a user. Even if a visitor does not have a profile with the respective social network, it cannot be ruled out that personal data on this visitor will be stored when visiting the respective website. 5. Contact information and rights of the person concerned
Insofar as the requirements described in the respective regulations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are met, each user has the following rights in particular:

The user may also request rectification and, where applicable, request the deletion of all his personal data from EUDF's database – except those which EUDF has a legal obligation to keep on record – and object to the use and, where appropriate, request the limitation thereof by using the contact information provided in the imprint.
